incremental backups (no replies)

Hi all,

... guess this was asked before but couldn't find an answer in the forum. The thing is, we have daily cronjobs creating dumpfiles with mysqldump command of large databases on our servers. The dump process is very time comsuming and as result there are conflicts with other cronjobs. Is there a way to dump incrementally ?
And if so do you have information/howtos ?

Any ideas are welcome. Thanks in advance for your help.
